We recommend that if a person's license to drive is either revoked or suspended, the individual obtain a copy of their lifetime driver's abstract from the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). Additionally, the person should gather all of their correspondence from DMV regarding their revoked or suspended license and organize this information.

New September 2012 Regulations

In September of 2012, a new series of regulations were implemented by the Department of Motor Vehicles regarding driver's licenses. These new regulations have resulted in numerous drivers having their licenses revoked for a period of years especially if the driver has multiple alcohol related convictions.
